Perenn is a bakery, café, and grocery rooted in daily ritual, craft, and community.
The name comes from perennial—something that returns, season after season. That idea guides everything we do. We are drawn to the rhythm of everyday life. The places people come back to without thinking. The quiet consistency of good food, familiar spaces, and thoughtful hospitality.
We met at the Culinary Institute of America and began our careers as private chefs, eventually building a catering company. A visit to Lake Tahoe turned into more than a decade, where we put down roots and began shaping Perenn.
Our lives outside of the bakery have always been close to this same idea. Time spent in gardens, watching things grow slowly, return each season, and evolve over time. It is a reminder that the best things are built with care, patience, and consistency.
Over time, Perenn has grown into a collection of bakeries, cafés, and a grocery, each built with the same intention. To create spaces that feel lived in, where details matter, and where people feel taken care of.
In 2024, we began building Perenn in Tennessee while continuing our work in Nevada. The work looks different in each place, but the idea stays the same.
Perenn is still evolving. It is shaped by the belief that the everyday is worth paying attention to. That something simple, done well and done consistently, can become meaningful over time.
We are building something meant to return.
