FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER (Rancharrah + Midtown)

Perenn is a fast paced bakery, restaurant, grocery and cafe dedicated to the craft of preparing and baking quality bread and viennoiserie. We are looking for individuals who are driven and self motivated with willingness to work in a team environment and maintain constant productive communication.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

  • Ensure that all front of house team members are performing their roles to the standard set by Perenn

  • Plan and execute the training of new employees 

  • Ensure that all front of house team members are properly informed of new items and specials

  • Hire and train restaurant staff

  • Organize, oversee and communicate staff schedules

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience

  • Handle customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner

  • Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations

  • audit ALL coffee and alcohol orders and submit orders when necessary

  • Maintain sales records and tracks cash receipts

  • Guide team weekly with constructive criticism and praise through Focus Points that are posted on Slack Front of House channel

  • Conduct performance evaluations  

  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy

  • Lead pre-shift meetings during your assigned shift, making sure that FOH associates are properly informed of new information, specials, and items

  • Serve as a liaison for all restaurant staff regarding questions or concerns

  • Manage inventory and coordinate with Maintenance for supply deliveries

  • Manage the weekly deposit and coordinate with Operations team on bank runs, change needed, etc. 

  • Manage inventory of retail section and communicate when more items should be ordered

  • Oversee that all opening and closing duties are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained 

  • Responsible for communication between Rancharrah and Midtown (all new items must be communicated, must be entered into Toast for them before sent over, etc.) 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR  THIS POSITION HAS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality leadership

- Excellent communication skills

- Expert multitasking ability

- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

- Must be able to complete tasks quickly and efficiently

- Must be able to work well as part of a team

- Must be able to work well under pressure
