BAKER
PERENN IS A FAST PACED BAKERY, RESTAURANT, GROCERY AND CAFE DEDICATED TO THE CRAFT OF PREPARING AND BAKING QUALITY BREAD AND VIENNOISERIE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DRIVEN AND SELF MOTIVATED WITH WILLINGNESS TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT AND MAINTAIN CONSTANT PRODUCTIVE COMMUNICATION.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BAKER MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
-EXECUTE THE MORNING BAKE: PROOF, BAKE AND FINISH ALL PASTRIES.
-PROOF, SHAPE, SCORE AND BAKE ALL BREADS.
-WEIGH OUT BREADS, MIX ALL BREAD AND PASTRY DOUGHS, AND FEED AND MAINTAIN ALL STARTERS.
-PREPARE MISC INGREDIENTS FOR BOTH BREAD AND PASTRIES.
-maintAIn a clean and organized kitchen.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION HAS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:
- STRONG COMMUNICATION, TIME AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, AND PLANNING SKILLS.
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ESPECIALLY WHEN PERFORMING QUALITY INSPECTIONS ON INGREDIENTS AND PRODUCTS.
- BASIC MATH SKILLS.
- WILLINGNESS TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY OR WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS, PLAN SCHEDULES, FULFILL ORDERS, AND CREATE ONE OF A KIND BAKED GOODS.
THIS POSITION INVOLVES EARLY MORNING STARTS (4AM/5AM).
